I'm practicing my line drawing, yay! 
And trying out some knotwork after about 1,001 years of not doing any. The results make me happy so far...
The sword design was inspired by an archaeological drawing in 'The Celtic Sword' by Radomir Pleiner. Not all that much information is given regarding the particular sword, but it is dated with a group of other swords around 7th century B.C. and is noted as a Hallstatt sword. Nowhere does it say where the sword was found or anything! Blah... Anyway, I loved the look of it, it's just sooo awesome.

I love it! The whole of it is really pleasing. I especially like the active look of the fabric and the way the trees look like sheep grazing if I squint just right . The knotwork is also very nice.
